Ab Attack
A 40-minute class concentrating specifically on firming and defining the abdominals while also strengthening the lower back.
Active Exercise
Active exercise is a fun physical activity programme for the over 55's. Activity can be in the gym or aerobic studio, or in the multisports hall. All activities cater for the beginner and have a key social element to make sure that fun is had by all.
Body Conditioning
This is a muscle toning and strengthening class for the whole body including the optional use of equipment to target individual muscle groups. This class is low cardiovascular, which is an excellent introduction to fitness classes giving balanced tone for all the body.
Bootcamp
Bootcamp is a military style training for both men & women. Our instructors will motivate and encourage you to reach your limits in a fun and enjoyable group environment. If you find it difficult to push yourself or reach your goals on your own. Loughlinstown Bootcamp is for you!
Bums & Tums
A 50 minute workout using body resistance and light weights to tone the
muscle groups of the lower body. Suitable for all levels.
Cardiac rehab phase IV
A fun controlled and safe way to exercise, following cardiac diagnosis/treatment, clients must have completed a phase III program and be referred to us by the hospital.
Indoor Bowls
Indoor bowls is simply the indoor incarnation of lawn bowls, it is played on a floor mat rather than grass and the rules are slightly different to the outdoor version.
Kettlebell classes
>Kettlebells offer a different kind of training using dynamic moves targeting almost every aspect of fitness - endurance, strength, balance, agility and cardiac endurance. People love kettlebell training as it is challenging, effective & a great cardio workout.

Spinning
Spinning is ideal for all levels. It is a motivating cycling class on stationary bikes with adjustable resistance levels based on your personal aerobic ability.
Besides being a great form of aerobic activity (burning between 400-600 calories in 40 minutes), indoor cycling is also beneficial in strengthening the muscles of the lower body. It tones the quadriceps and hamstrings, along with working the back and hips.
The Spinning class takes place in our new air-conditioned spinning studio. Places are limited due to demand and must be pre-booked, contact reception for booking and more information.
Sports Club (2-5 years)
This programme is an excellent opportunity for children to learn fundamental movement skills, make new friends and share in a fun and safe environment.
Step
An excellent low impact cardiovascular workout. Step platforms can be
set depending on your personal fitness level and desired intensity. Abs
workout, cooldown and stretch included in the class. Beginners should
attend the Tuesday or Thursday step class.
Super Circuit
This class accommodates varying levels of fitness. Circuit is designed
for upper, middle and lower body conditioning as well as low to high cardiovascular
training. High calorie burning is guaranteed. A high level of coordination
is not required as all movements are straightforward. All you need is
a towel, water and determination!
Teen Gym
Supervised activites for 11-17 year olds, which includes use of cardio machines and some resistance exercises in the gym, and a fitness class from our current timetable. A screening form must be completed and Parent/Guardian consent is required.
TRX Training
TRX is training that uses your own body weight and gravity, to build strength, balance, coordination, flexibility, core and joint stability. TRX will take care of all the neglected muscle groups your regular program misses. A must for everyone.
