Carla"I just wanted to drop you a quick mail to compliment you on your new pool. I attended for the first time with my daughter yesterday morning for the Adult and Toddler class and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. I have tried out many of these classes in other centres over the past couple of years with both of my daughters and they have never lasted more than 15/20 mins in the water without their lips turning blue and their bodies shaking due to the water being so cold. We had none of that yesterday. The water and the air temperature were perfect which resulted in my two year old not wanting to get out of the water which is a first.
I also want to compliment you on the cleanliness on it. From the walk way down, to the changing rooms, to the pool, to the showers I could not fault anything. It was spotlessly clean. I was very impressed.
And last I would like to compliment you on your friendly and courteous staff who were extremely polite and helpful.
I will definitely be back to the facility with my family as I was very impressed with it. "
"My daughter Hannah had her swimming party in Loughlinstown on Saturday 23rd Feb. Just wanted to say thanks so much for everything, having the changing room/pool area reserved was fantastic and so easy to keep an eye on the girls. The lifeguards on attendance were super and very helpful and friendly. The girls had an absolute ball and my only regret is not booking them in for a longer duration. "Phase III Cardiac Rehabilitation St. Columicilles Hospital in has been running for the last ten years. Phase III is a comprehensiveCardiac Rehabilitation programme offering our patients combined information sessions, risk factor management and monitored exercise programme 3 times a week for 8 weeks. Our patients are individuals who have suffered a heart attack or have had a cardiac intervention such as coronary stenting or cardiac surgery. We recognised the importance of continuing regular exercise in this patient group as a very important component of risk factor management and for some patients they enjoy exercising in a gym environment.
We worked with the dlr Leisure Services Loughlinstown the Cardiac Rehabilitation team in St. Columicilles Hospital, Dr Charles Mc Creery (Consultant Cardiologist) and the hospital management team and organised information sessions and BLS/AED training for current gym instructors. These sessions gave them an overview of Cardiac Rehabilitation and cardiac disease and exercise for the cardiac patient. Phase 4 exercise classes for patients who have completed phase 3 in St. Columicilles Hospital was commenced in April 2008.
To date this programme has met our aims of having patients participating in a supervised class run by qualified gym instructors who have met the requirements of the cardiologist,Cardiac Rehabilitation coordinator and hospital management. Without exception our patients have given very positive feedback on the phase 4 class they have attended in dlr Leisure Services Loughlinstown . They find it a useful motivator in helping them keep to the exercise guidelines they have received during Cardiac Rehabilitation.
There are 3 instructors who are running Phase 4 exercise classes in Loughlinstown gym; one instructor has also completed the British association of Cardiac Rehabilitationtraining course for phase 4."

My Grandson attended the camp for 3 weeks, he was very happy with everything especially the pool. He was afraid of the water and now he can swim a little it was a great achievement for him. He has been to a few camps through the summer and he says this was the best one. He learned to play different games. I would like to congratulate you and your choice of coaches they were great. "We wanted to thank both of you in particular for providing a great setting for Mark's 9th birthday party last Saturday, we never had some many texts from other parents saying how much all the children enjoyed it.
From the day we booked the party till the time we left we could not have been looked after any better - the reassurance of having a back up in the event of rain was extremely comforting and the constant communication & reassurance from yourself and Elaine was most welcome.
The kids loved playing football and running around and the room after the match was a fantastic success with the kids loving the large space to run around in and also playing with the indoor sports equipment - it was a terrific morning, very cost effective in these current times and we'll be back next year for sure.
To Niall, Elaine and all the staff who made the day so enjoyable and memorable a Big Thank You."

The facilities at the pool are fantastic and the pools and surrounding changing areas are always clean and tidy. The coaching is excellent; the coaching staff is always pleasant, professional and really does an excellent job. Not a minute is wasted from the first to the last lesson. I find that they are always in good form, very welcoming and go out of their way to make sure that I get the best service possible. While I am at it we love the new pool in Meadowbrook and she is really enjoying Park Tennis in Marley on Saturdays. We are really fortunate to have such fantastic amenities in our area.
